http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/thelife/music/news/story?id=6657642 ESPN is currently running a poll for the best Undefeated team. Of course they have Arsenal included. Let's make sure they win. Right now, not looking so good. GP
how can the Dolphins be the best if they didn't even accomplish their ultimate goal? might as well add the Patriots to that list.
Ugh...Preston North End were not a Premier League side in 1889. A bit impossible without the Doctor's assistance, seeing as how the PL started in 1992. Do your fucking homework, ESPN. [/pedantic]
strictly speaking you are correct, but, since the use of "division 1" for the exact same continued top league now just confuses people because "division 1" is now the third tier, then maybe the best term is "top tier". personally i wish they'd just rename them back to div.1-4 and stop being gimps about it. anyway, it's a kind of narrow list....no '91-92 ac milan for instance?
In the league i used to play in, it was Premier Division then Div 2, 3 and 4. Would be easy to do that imo.
Fact is men's college basketball was a joke when UCLA went undefeated. In a sense, the woman's game has caught up to where the men's game was then (equally shitty)
Man. Where are the '76 Hoosiers on that list? I would have voted for them! As it is though, I have no split loyalties... Arsenal for the win.
Arsenal has a third of the votes right now, not bad for an American website. I'm not even going to accuse anyone on here of ballot stuffing...
I'm going to be really pissed if I can't accuse anyone here of ballot-stuffing: what have you guys been doing?
Uh, if they wanted a college football team, '95 Nebraska is widely considered the best one in history.
