I not saying manta is the best city in ecuador, but in my heart there is nothing better then manta to me. I wouldn't want to be nowhere else Quito is my second choice I think. I've been to guayas once and all I remember is that it was crazy HOT.
Dude, no big deal, man...I just don't think the term "natives" was used in the proper context of what you meant and was simply taking the piss based on that. Perhaps "locals" might have been a better word. As far as Avatar. I have gotten mixewd reviews on the story but all agree on the effects, that they rock! Several have mentioned that the actual story was rather lame. I still need to go out and see 2012. I heard that was actually pretty damn good. @ Guayaquileno, I laughed my ass off with the "'ooga ooga booga" response...lol!!!
As for Avatar, I thought the FX were amazing AND I really got caught up in the story. It's predictable and derivative, but it's well executed and well acted. Personally, I thought 2012 was really tedious--bad acting and just too cheesy. It also had good special FX, though.
