You really picked a great time to be saying that. Last week a team of 12 only just beat a team of 10. Yes, I included the ref.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game where the ref. so blatantly and obviously ‘gave’ the game to one team. That last goal was given with Henry climbing all over a defender to get the ball to Kanu. While he was dealing yellows and reds like he should be working in Vagas at a blackjack table to anyone who farted on the opposing team.
I was pissed and I didn’t give a rats for either of them…!

Oh, in answer to your question LIVERPOOL of course…!!!:)

Let me remind you , my scouse friend, about a certain Mr Ellery last saturday at Anfield.

Yes you're right 12 man Liverpool vs 10 man West Bromwich Albion.

    Mmmmmm!!!!!

Oh by the way, Arsenal will win the premiership.
Bolton, Saints & Villa will go down.

Yeah and that linesman that called Henry offside on an earlier goal, which was the wrong call. I suppose he was from Liverpool.

If Arsenal continue at current form then they will take the title again, but it is a long season and anything can happen. No one can stay unbeaten in the EPL for an entire season with the quality of the top 5 teams, anytime they play its up in teh airas far as I am concerned .

Remember, its a marathon not a sprint and so much can happen. Arsenal is the perfect team to illustrate this fact, remember 98.

you didn't win in 98 because you lost at Elland Road on the second last day of the season. I've never been so sad to win a match. Handing the title to scum was just awful.

Im confused....Arsenal did win in 98 due to a 17 game unbeaten streak to end the season after being down 12 points to ManU. In 99 Arsenal did the big choke to Leeds to spoil their lead in the Prem.

    ehe... that's right. 98, 99... whatever.

The only year in the 90's that really matters is 92

I was a bit pissed when i wrote that post....

I don't see it as a distance thing as much a health thing. Injuries always play a key role in every champoinship season or lack there of for that matter. Staying healthy is the most important thing.

We did have quite a lot of injuries last year. But the difference now is the depth of the squad. We have some quality players on the bench to step in when required and do a job.

That would be the already mentioned 97-98 season.

Manchester United were 12 points ahead as late as March but Arsenal came alive and made an utter mockery of that lead.

Should I say anything or just laugh? Oh what the hell. Leeds Utd. 1 (Seaman was laughing), Arsenal .....4.

Any questions about depth, ability, anything?

I think Arsenal are by far the best team in the land. I have never seen a side play as good as the one i saw at Elland Road on Satdi.

I wouldn't be suprised if they went through the season without losing a match.

I saw both Arsenal and Man Utd this weekend and, though it pains me to say so, Arsenal are streets ahead at this point :(

Got to admit it…This was not the arse the played last week...Good win..!!!
They had 5 goals (assuming Henry wouldn’t take the PK the should have had.) That was NOT an offside in injury time. Different ref. Different game.

Worthy runners up to the ‘pool this season…!;)
