one Detail extremely important about Ballon D'or elections that you doesn't to mention here Gerd Muller retired pretty sooner from German National Team Side in 1974 ..Final against Holland ..World Cup so ..... since 1974-1975 season He couldn't win more Ballon d'Or awards... because from weight...of National Teams games because he no longer matched... games for the German National Team side and Clubs at the same time 1975 and 1976 Muller, still playing for the German National Team, would have won these Ballon d'Or awards. easily against Blohkin and later ..Beckenbauer and Rensenbrink in 1976 !
the own Ronaldo Nazario de Lima says himself : Ronaldo said on him-self : that he no longer contested headers won (defensive and offensive headers won) because he almost died in the Eredivisie from Holland and was unconscious for 10 minutes almost died ... contesting against dutch defenders like Jaap Stam then he developed a fear of duels won on the ground by knee injuries , Aerial Battle duels and tackles won by almost died in Aerial Battles ...at Eredivisie % in general because of his knee injuries so how can a fearful and lazy center forward be the best in history?? Ronaldo trembled with fear of aerial battles of headers won tackles duels won on the ground
When i've played Winning Eleven Classic Teams When I played against Atletico MG... with Reinaldo Away game it was extremely difficult to beat Galo (Atlético Mineiro) at Mineirão and also Fluminense, La Máquina, at Maracanã Reinaldo was very very ambi-dextrous feet mentality player with too much agility of movements and also greater lower gravity ... to move into channels and narrower spaces & shorter spaces "!
And one half of Gerd Muller. I am indeed. Ronaldo was a one trick wonder. Roberto had -superior shooting power -better shooting accuracy -passing, both long and short distance (which Ronaldo had not) -good dribbling (Ronaldo better in this respect, though in the case of close dribbling they are pretty well matched) -better "general purpose" technique
At the age of 18 (throughout 2020), Michael Olise was playing for Reading FC in the English Championship. [1, 2] He reached several career milestones during this year: [3, 4] Professional Integration: After signing his first professional contract in July 2019 at age 17, he became a regular fixture in Reading's first team during the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons. First Senior Goal: On September 19, 2020, while still 18, he scored his first professional league goal in a 2–0 victory against Barnsley. Breakthrough Performance: During his 18th year, he played 44 Championship games in the 2020/21 campaign, eventually winning the EFL Young Player of the Season award. International Status: At age 18, he was already representing France at the U18 level, having debuted for them in June 2019. Yes we have to wait to see what Yamal will be able to do when his football coming of age will be completed. For the time being, Olise Is in my opinion the only player of today (excluding the obvious next to retirement Messi& Cristiano) that possesses the all-round quality of the Legends of the past
Harry Kane went to Bayern and proportionally started scoring more goals simply because his team scores more goals. Which once again shows how relative numbers are, many strikers from the 90s would score like Haaland or Harry Kane if they played today.
Everything he is already doing but better up until 25-ish when young fteshness, quickness starts to fade. If till that point he figures out how to reproducably and consistently score goals, he will be amongst very few best players in history. He is intelligent, technically brilliant, physically gifted, with natural flair and vision for the game. Also very driven. He is already demonstrating disciplined, methodological and systemic approach to playing the game. He thinks while he plays. These are all ingredients that inevitably lead to greatness. It is destined, unless he loses focus outside the pitch or injuries happen. The only question mark I have about Yamal in terms of talent and skills not adding up to the potential I described is whether he has capacity to score many, many goals. What does his goalscoring peak look like? This is the single parameter I dont know that will determine whether he is top 5 or top 100 of all time. He has everything else.
