Ronaldo Nazario needs to be chubby or aLittle bit Fat for his boyfriends currently thats it hahaha !!
Marco Marco Materazzi disagree this ..totally .. Ibra ... He's a good player yes .. but good for the Championships ... But in Big Matches ... simply .. we wouldn't be counting with Him.. never never never ... whole Career .. just only 1 Uefa Cup .. by Marco Materazzi !
Ronaldo reinventing himself into the best striker - to me - is the highest compliment I can pay him. Far from a diss, it elevates his status in my eyes. And I may add there is way more worth in his ability to guarsntee goals and hence a win even in the toughest of circumstances by leveraging his skillsets than combining backpasses and losing the ball 60% of the time when trying to ball hog in midfield
Denis Law is a Player that I liked to see him playing yes, Denis Law was equals Paolo Rossi and F. Inzagui .. But much more complete than both of them.. Law had incredible Bravery and Work Rate Job... had Agility and Stamina . like Di Stefano .. had great Technique and good skills as well .. great Heading Accuracy + at the right Time in the air great Decisions great Shot Technique .. " volleys and OverHead Kicks " Plays one-Twos Sprint Speed younger higher Determination Team Work composure Flair Of Goal Defensive Covers Tackles Positioning Anticipation Jumping Reach Leadership/good Personality ambi-dextrous feet really pretty Good !
They've been changing algorithms. It is not comparable 1 to 1. They changed in 2017 and then 2022 again i think
You wish. CR7 as a striker is a flawed player and borderline detrimental for a team, R9 isn't. A basic 9 should be good with the back to the goal, protecting the ball there and had the link up play from there, that's a very basic skillset for a 9 where Cristiano never felt comfortable to perform and never at required level... he played as a false 9 (more of a inside forward receiving on the left, especially with Benzema) or as a 9 in a highly oriented counter attack team to exploit his pace, so Cristiano Ronaldo was never a real stiker, only in controlled circumstances. If a team will need a striker, do you think they would look for Cristiano Ronaldo? Thats a ManUnited 2022 level of thinking. I would even look for someone good enough like Dzeko much before than CR7, at least he could play there. R9 on the other hand could protect the ball under pressure with the back to the goal, turn with the ball with easy. It was natural for him. More so, R9 was a better dribbler than Cristiano Ronaldo in central areas, stronger and had better shot placement than Cristiano. You totally can argue CR7 as a better player to R9 is thats all fine, but thats him on his position and role. You guys need to wake up for the reality sometimes.
Erling Haaland has now failed to score in his last NINE cup finals - and all eight that he has featured in for Manchester City (including Community Shields). 😮He has also failed to score in his six appearances for the club at Wembley. 😶 pic.twitter.com/Yv5WIEtwUV— WhoScored (@WhoScored) May 17, 2025 Thierry Henry played in 9 cup finals in his career scoring 0 goals. He also played in 15 semi-finals scoring 2 goals. Its a team sport. https://t.co/ZY5FowPjGd— WeAreTottenhamTV (@WeRTottenhamTV) August 12, 2023
Zlatan Ibrahimovic: Made more key passes in open play than any other player in Serie A last season (76) & was also top scorer with 28 goals— WhoScored (@WhoScored) July 12, 2012
Zlatan ibrahimovic 2011/12 would be a borderline extraterrestrial playing in Serie A today ——————————— It says a lot about the overall quality of football today that this pitiful version of Serie A produced a champions league finalist one that put 7 goals past La liga champions Barcelona Yeah it is true peak Barcelona conceded 7 goals in a CL SF tie before but that was against a Bayern Munich team that is widely considered to be one of the best club teams in European football history Maybe even the best
The difference is tactically these new coaches and players do not defend. Inter Milan produced 7 tackles WHILE losing, whereas a decade ago (sampling random matches), you'd get on the order 20+ tackles from each team (total of near 50).
The inter Milan that almost won the treble vs the inter Milan team that actually won the treble Or even taking it further back The interception data is obviously incomplete for the 2003/04 UCL season but look at the difference in tackles per game !!!! That was the inter Milan defence Thierry Henry laid complete waste to by the way Even Thierry Henry who was notoriously ineffective in finals in his era would probably put 5 goals past this version of inter Milan by himself No kidding and no exaggeration
I love Lamine. I think he is a special talent. But what ppl don't understand is a lanky build like his (which allows him to have the agility to bob and weave between players) would break in 15min on a pitch in the old days.
