Who would you put as the best starting eleven from the combined squads of this group, and how would it fare against such a similar team from the other groups?

    Zanetti, Boulharouz, Rodriguez, Sorin/Heinz
    Mascherano
    MVB, Cocu
    Riquelme
    Tevez, Robben

I know this tactic/formation may not work the best, but I think it is the best starting 11

subs: krompkamp, sorin/heinz, vdv, dindane, messi, cresp, b. kalou, zokora, aimar, ayala or milito, kuijt

    group h
    casillas
    trabelsi, puyol, , del horno
joaquin, de la pena, xabi alsono, xavi, vicente
    shevchenko

not the most defensive midfield, bu toh well. if u wanna replace xavi cuz he is injured, put in ramos, guti, iniesta, or luis garcia.

idk who to partner with puyol.

    GROUP A

    Goalkeeper:
Boruc (hes on the upswing of his career, and Kahn is on the downswing)

Defence: Maybe Lewandowski could be in there, but I'll give this one to the Germans

    Lahm Metzelder Mertesacher Friedrich

    Midfield:

    Smolarek Ballack Schweinsteiger Krzynowek

Forwards: I'd put Podolski in, but this season, hes not exactly playing like I'd expect. Plus, without Schweinsteiger, I don't think hed be as good as people make him out to be.
