this year sucked for good songs. but one song in particular blew me away somebody told me by the killers and for rap has to be fabolous breathe wow thats all i got to say.
Somebody told me, it was tip top 6 months ago but now the commercial radio has a hold of it and have it on repeat it is dying a slow death. Mr Brightside and Glamerous indie rock n roll are other songs worth listening too on Hot Fuss. Muse 'absolution' was released last year.
great choice... off the top of my head, i'll add: all falls down - kanye west through the wire - kanye west maybe - N*E*R*D one trick pony - nelly furtado - one trick pony zinloos (theo van gogh version) - large frans and baas b w/ ninthe
One of my favorites is Chris Robinson's "40 Days" which shocked even me, because I hated the Black Crowes so much. That song however, rocks a great rocking.
Well, if we're talking in terms of rotation: Somebody Told Me - The Killers Primitive (The Way I Treat You) - Ambulance Ltd. C'mon C'mon - The Von Bondies Take Me Out - Franz Ferdinand Ted Leo/Rx - Me and Mia Slow Hands - Interpol Secret Machines - Nowhere Again
Electrelane - Enter Laughing. Of Montreal - Lysergic Bliss Of Montreal - My British Tour Diary Animal Collective - Winter's Love Arcade Fire - Funeral #2 Cake - Wheels Cake - End Of The Movie
the whole franz ferdinand album is great. i didnt like a lot of the music this year, especially the rap and the little kid music. a couple good songs i like are ja rule - wonderful and kevin lyttle - turn me on. i listened to them before practices to get warmed up
Besides the ones that everyone knows: Love Will Come Through - Travis Mass Destruction (remix) - Faithless Chocolate - Kylie Minogue
I think that one came out in 2003, but a great song nonetheless. Among singles, ones that I didn't see listed: Bowling For Soup - 1985 Snow Patrol - Run Keane - Somewhere Only We Know
