Just wondering where is the best place to watch a Liverpool match from in anfield. From which stand which end and why. I've only had the pleasure of seeing two matches in Anfield. The first from the corner of the Anfield road end (crappy but amazing to just be in the ground). The second from the Main Stand, just to the kop side of halfway (obviously much more quality even if the result wasn't). Wondering what places other people think.

    Kop.

Actually, the corner of the Anny Road, underneath the TV studio, is a cracking place to be if you can't make it into the Kop. There's little nugget of loudmouths in that area which make games great fun. Last time I was in there was for the UEFA semi-final against Barca and it was mental.

The Main (Moan) Stand is rubbish. Hate it in there, even though I have to go in there fairly regularly whenever I am using a mate's ST.

If you want to take someone to actually watch the match as you would on television, only with the crowd noise more immediate, then you can't go wrong with the Upper Tier of the Centenary.
