    Which one is the best?

    1. Rubber Soul- the Beatles
    2. London Callin- the Clash
    3. Live at Folsom Prision- Johnny Cash
    4. Blondeon Blonde- Bob Dylan
    5. Bookends- Simon and Garfunkle
    6. Pet Sounds- the Beach Boys
    7. Nevermind- Nirvana
    8. Nevermind the Bollocks- the Sex Pistoles

Not sure how you arrived at those eight, but Rubber Soul is the best of those. Layla by Derek and the Dominoes should be somewhere on that list, though I'm still not sure how you came up with the criteria for your selections. Personal favorites?

The first four are definitely on my favorites list.

Of those eight? Why London Calling, of course. Nevermind and Pet Sounds are pretty great, too.

I suppose you left the Pixies' Doolittle off because its position as the best album of all time is obvious. :)

I just don't understand why the Darkness album isn't on the list...

i came to those eight because Rubber Soul/Folsome Prision/London Calling are my three favorite records. the other ones i like a lot and they are common fixtures on many people's best record lists
