I think the definition of Playmaker you're going for might be a bit too broad. I question this list. Diamantino has no place on this poll; neither does Antonio Sousa for that matter. Also, your stretching the term playmaker a bit by adding Coluna to this list. Again, you're missing lots of players. Where's Travassos? Futre? Antonio Oliveira? Carlos Manuel? Joao V. Pinto? If Coluna makes the list, then what about Paulo Sousa?
Playmaker is very vague. Playmakers exist in all areas of the pitch. Figo has received the most publicity because of his status with Real Madrid and being named the FIFA player of the year in 2002. I agree, love him or hate him, that Joao V Pinto has to be on this list.
I voted for Simoes, out of 1000 goals scored by Eusebio he got at least 600 assists, don't forget they also played together in the USA also roomates, and best friends, the best combination ever in Portuguese Soccer
