Anyway, that is my preference but think all three go in the same tier (see my answer to the question on the previous page).
yes ... Robin Van Persie ...Arjen Robben ... i like it .... " them too " Van Persie was much more +++ important for the Dutch national football team and go ahead ! for the 2010 and 2014 World Cups.. Van Nilstelrooy was only a club player different from Ruud Gullit, Van Basten, Keizer, Krol, Van Hanegem and Cruyff.. who played more in the old European football champions cup.. which had all stages of the competition being knockout stages and losed to comeback home as soon as possible Ruud Van Nilstelrooy... Raul... Alessandro Del Piero... Henry ... Ronaldinho Gaucho ... Kaká etc.. got Uefa Champions league mode : initially with two group stages, which makes it much easier to produce very high numbers... Then and later with an established group stage much more easier to play against Udinese 2005/06 fields in great states already the referee saving the players of the stronger dives .. well get easier nowadays to play Football red cards to save against defenders Messi .. C.Ronaldo... Kaka ...Ronaldinho taking easier times . ! that's all ! i can say for now ..

Like the other (we can also recall stuff as this, aged 35-36 - there's more and yes 2005-06 was meh) it is not necessary to click far back in the games. https://www.sofascore.com/player/zinedine-zidane/4735 Because he has such a big name in history (often placed top 20 all-time; I'd think there are a few options for that yes and Zidane is one of them) I'll list them all here below. Remember, a 6.5 is the starting grade, also for substitutes. 10/06/96 - 6.6 vs Romania 15/06/96 - 6.2 vs Spain 18/06/96 - 7.2 vs Bulgaria 22/06/96 - 7.8 vs Netherlands (120 minutes) 26/06/96 - 6.8 vs Czech Republic (120 minutes) 12/06/98 - 7.6 vs South Africa 18/06/98 - 7.4 vs Saudi Arabia 03/07/98 - 9.1 vs Italy (120 minutes) 08/07/98 - 6.9 vs Croatia 12/07/98 - 9.0 vs Brazil 11/06/00 - 8.0 vs Denmark 16/06/00 - 7.6 vs Czech Republic 26/06/00 - 7.7 vs Spain 28/06/00 - 9.3 vs Portugal (golden goal 117th minute) 02/07/00 - 7.2 vs Italy (golden goal 103th minute) 11/06/02 - 7.0 vs Denmark (injured) 04/11/03 - 7.5 vs Partizan 24/02/04 - 7.1 vs Bayern 10/03/04 - 8.1 vs Bayern 24/03/04 - 9.0 vs Monaco 13/06/04 - 8.8 vs England 17/06/04 - 8.0 vs Croatia 21/06/04 - 7.7 vs Switzerland 25/06/04 - 6.7 vs Greece 15/09/04 - 6.9 vs Leverkusen 28/09/04 - 7.2 vs Roma 19/10/04 - 7.4 vs Kyiv 03/11/04 - 7.7 vs Kyiv 23/11/04 - 7.7 vs Leverkusen 08/12/04 - 7.3 vs Roma 22/02/05 - 7.8 vs Juventus 09/03/05 - 7.4 vs Juventus 19/10/05 - 6.8 vs Rosenborg 23/11/05 - 7.2 vs Lyon 21/02/06 - 6.8 vs Arsenal 08/03/06 - 6.8 vs Arsenal 13/06/06 - 7.5 vs Switzerland 18/06/06 - 7.3 vs South Korea 27/06/06 - 7.3 vs Spain 01/07/06 - 8.5 vs Brazil 05/07/06 - 7.4 vs Portugal 09/07/06 - 6.3 vs Italy (120 minutes) For club there are 16 games, with 6 rated 7.5 or above (one at 9.0 or higher). Zidane was 31 years and 4 months old at the first game. For country there are 26 games, with 13 rated 7.5 or above (and three at 9.0 or higher). There are stories around about Zidane undergoing blood transfusions and treatment in Switzerland before the 2006 World Cup to "regenerate his body"... it is an open question whether that is (politically) allowed for any country and any player, but I like it that it has never been denied and no secret was made out of this. Another reason to 'like' France.
.......... Zidane took a long time to blossom into World Football precisely in the 1995/96 season for Bordeaux he Desabrochou comes from the verb to desabrochar. The same as: appeared, sprouted, hatched, flowed, was born, broke, emerged, opened, half-opened. with great performances in the Uefa Cup against Ac Milan... Betis... etc.,, Despite having a lot of class, elegance and extreme technical quality and skills be an ambidextrous player as well But it " he " was never a phenomenon in World Football like Michel Platini Alfredo Di Stefano Sir Bobby Charlton Maradona...Zico ...Cubillas... because Zizou scored very few goals in his career and gave very few direct indirect assists too He was more of a pre-assist player, so to speak... he didn't have the killer instinct of a born Topgoalscorer like Ronaldinho Gaucho for example too didn't have the killer instinct of a born Topgoalscorer ..... i prefer Michel Platini than Zidane easily !
Pep's Barça wouldn't have won any CL title if not for the "little help from my friends" on Chelsea 08/09, Arsenal 10/11 and Real Madrid 10/11
...... It's wrong to compare Neymar Jr... with Ronaldinho Gaucho not by skills and dribbling skills or also by playmaking skills in general . Neymar Jr's level of effectiveness is on another level. certainly much higher(better) than Ronaldinho Gaucho, they are completely different universes . Ronaldinho Gaucho is the same Roberto Baggio level.. Dennis Bergkamp and Francesco Totti or equally a little worse or slightly worse than Roberto Baggio by numbers to both . Please do not mix with collective titles in your career. As it literally says, titles are collective I'm talking about the players' individual real numbers (OPTA criteria ). It is clear that playing for the Brazilian National team side , any player will win many more +++ collective titles than playing for Northern Ireland for example. Neymar Jr.. his effectiveness is at the level of Ronaldo Nazario, Zico, Michel Platini and Marco van Basten . so it's wrong to put Ronaldinho Gaucho in this group of effectiveness . !
Neymar has yet to win the best player trophy at a major tournament. The MVP of the Copa America 2019 was Dani Alves. In La Liga, Messi. Effectiveness in lower-level tournaments (ligue 1, libertadores etc).
............. let's go into the real numbers : Ronaldinho Gaucho career 806 matches .... 302 goals ...... ..........194 assists (direct and indirect assists too ) .... 0, 37 % average of goals ....0, 24 % average of assists vs Roberto Baggio 699 matches 318 goals 200 assists 0, 45 % average of goals ... 0, 28 % average of assists ...
Ronaldinho Gaucho in finals .... 27 matches ..disputed 6 goals + 6 * assists ( i'm considering the assist against Auxerre French Cup but by Opta is not valid this assist there but i'm considering as an assist too ) + 1 pre-assist Total == 13 participations to the team 0, 48 % average of participations ...... Neymar Jr.. has 21 goals in finals .... por example Ronaldinho Gaucho 05/06 12 matches ... 7 goals .... 4 assists Neymar Jr 14/15 12 matches ... 10 goals ..... 3 assists ....
Roberto Baggio sits at the same table as Ronaldinho, of course. MSN's Barcelona was a team that scored a lot of goals. You have to adjust to the team's pace. Neymar was a great supporting player. Neymar has yet to win the best player trophy at a major tournament.
Jude Belligham 254 matches 56 goals 0, 22 % average of goals vs Ruud Gullit 636 matches 236 goals 0, 37 % average of goals 362 matches 140 assists 0, 38 % average of assists
i'm sure that Francesco Totti is the same level of Ronaldinho Gaucho ... for justice and Alessandro Del Piero honestly is slightly better than Ronaldinho Gaucho too Francesco Totti career 844 matches 316 goals .... 0, 37 % average of goals .... 233 assists ..... 0, 27 % average of assists ....
for example Ronaldinho Gaucho won the awards of the Fifa the Best in 2004 and 2005 and Ballon D'or in 2005 in 2004 against Thierry Henry , Schevchenko .. Deco ... For someone who played Champions League each season for over a decade, for a crazy and loaded Man City side, I'd say it isn't so great. Maybe metabolism has something to do with this? Aguero often not the starting striker for Argentina either (2014 for example) and the one World Cup where he did kind of perform, the 2018 match vs France, was not in the evening. It was 15:00 local time in Russia.
I can agree on that, Neymar, Zico, Baggio, Henry are the type of player I would put ahead of Ronaldinho (Baggio with some debate because he was a player hard to place in a XI, but you can't deny his technique and end product in the highest stages of 90s). Bergkamp it can go either way for me, but I surely rate Ronaldinho higher than Totti, Del Piero and even Laudrup. Thats my opinion.

This is a pretty strong profile. However, the only semi finals he played as established player (in 2009) are both rated only a 7.2 and bettered by Van Persie and Nasri. The 2nd leg of the 2008 quarter finals only a 6.8 as starting player (where they went out). In the 2006 final as starter a 6.8. In the 2nd leg of the Juventus KO match a 6.9, 2nd leg Real Madrid KO game 6.5. I made the comment before that I saw/see him as a player whose value was reduced (to a greater extent than other players at this level) if you put pressure on him and time and space got denied. Maybe that's also why he tailed off at a relatively young age, after around december 2014 (the first half of the 2014-15 title winning season was still very good/excellent). Next to starting very young, maybe. Whatever one might think, he joins the 10.0 list. David Villa 8.4 vs Shakhtar (18/10/06) Others at 7.5 or higher: 8.1 vs Schalke (18/09/07), 8.0 vs Roma (27/09/06), 7.8 vs Chelsea (03/10/07), 7.6 vs Inter (21/02/07). There are 14 rated games. 5 are 7.5 or higher. 7 are 7.0 or lower. Beyond this timeframe he has: 9.3 vs Borisov (28/09/11), 8.5 vs Plzen (19/10/11), 7.8 vs Rubin (29/09/10), 7.8 vs Arsenal (16/02/11). The other ones are almost all below a 7.0 but of course the leg break is a thing here (the 2011 CL final is a 7.4)... At national team level a 9.0 vs Honduras in 2010 and a 7.9 vs Portugal in 2010. He has a 10.0 in the first group stage game vs Russia in 2008, followed by 7.7, 7.6 and 7.0. David Silva 7.6 vs Inter (21/02/07) Others at 7.5 or above: 7.6 vs Rosenborg (24/10/07), 7.5 vs Chelsea (11/12/07) Outside this frame: 8.7 vs Hoffenheim (02/10/18), 8.5 vs Shakhtar (23/10/18), 8.4 vs Roma (30/09/14), 8.2 vs Monchengladbach (08/12/15), 8.1 vs Bayern (07/12/11), 8.1 vs Shakhtar (07/11/18), 8.0 vs Monaco (21/02/17), 7.8 vs Villarreal (18/10/11), 7.8 vs Shakhtar (26/09/17), 7.6 vs Real Madrid (21/11/12), 7.6 vs Barcelona (18/02/14), 7.6 vs Barcelona (24/02/15), 7.5 vs Barcelona (01/11/16), 7.5 vs Schalke (20/02/19)
Zico is perhaps/possibly a fair bit better (if you look at the top level games) but don't think there is much between Ronaldinho, Neymar or Henry. Maybe I'd take Henry for his consistency but he is also known for zero goals in 20+ finals or so. Baggio I find really very overrated (has only 18 months where he was really among the world's best players; failed at a number of top teams; his 1994WC really not that good), Totti as well. Del Piero pre-2003 or pre-2004 is underrated (I have always been of the Del Piero over Totti camp). Laudrup misunderstood (because many have that feeling in their mind the highlights aren't the real Laudrup). Either way, many of those names belong better in another thread.
Yes, I can confirm reading an interview where Zidane himself was making the recommendation to a fellow athlete (From another sport) to go to this Swiss Clinic for blood transfusions. He had Thalassemia trait, so whether or not this falls within medical exemption regulations - I do not know (unlikely would be my uninformed presumption). Zidane certainly doped (like most athletes) - starting with his stint at Juve where EPO was rampant.
yes .... on Francesco Totti and Michael Laudrup i agree with you ...for sure ... sometimes i've tried to talk about this with Peter Gabriel 78 ... he's a biggest fan of Michael Laudrup on the whole World . on Alessandro Del Piero ... Del Piero has so many many goals ...+ assist + pre-assist + key plays in the finals disputed for him .....in the him whole career i realize this ..looking Zizou's Finals ...Alex Del Piero .. was a monster in the finals . really was a n amazing player ..
