It seems like there's always the same people when you see a list of the best players -- and that they're always the attacking players. So if you made a list of the top five players at each position, who would they be? GK -- 1 thru 5 (I'm curious how many great old goal keepers there are that people know about that don't play for Utd) Schmeikel (can't spell it), Buffon, RB -- 1 thru 5 CB -- 1 thru 10 LB -- 1 thru 5 LW -- 1 thru 5 CM -- 1 thru 10 RW -- 1 thru 5 Fwd -- 1 thru 10 It's boring around here. I did think that. It really wasn't my intention to kill the thread. Just to offer some food for thought. Those threads were simply to try and help people (myself included) learn more about some great players.
^I did look over at "The Beautiful Game" forum -- which I usually think of as "all Messi, all the time", and there does seem to be a whole bunch of "greatest xxxx" thread there all of a sudden.
