Who does everyone think is the best player in each of the four major European leagues at the moment? I'd say: Italyavel Nedved Spain:Roy Makaay or Nihat Kahveci England:Thierry Henry Germany:Michael Ballack
I agree on Nedved, Henry and Makaay, but I'm not sure with Ballack. I don't follow Germany a lot so I can't name the best.
Michael Ballack has scored 15 goals this season, which is good for a midfielder. He has had a lot of assists too. He is the best playmaker in the bundesliga followed by Marcelinho.
Thank You. Rafael van der Vaart is the best player in the Dutch League in my opinion too, Andy van der Meyde is second.
Ah, now then ... it's the age-old conundrum though. Are we talking about "best" as in "most recently on top form" or best as in "best football player"?
If its on current form, which it seems to be by the choice of Nihat then it has to be Van nistelrooy or Scholes for England, both finished the season in incredible form.
Best Overall player in each league: Italy: Francesco Totti Spain: Zinedine Zidane England: Thierry Henry Germany: Michael Ballack Totti is a better "overall" player then Nedved. Makaay is great but Zidane is just a wizard!
Giovane Elber won player of the year in Germany, which I, and every other person who posted on this thread, dosn't agree with. He did get joint top scorer though. Maybe its because of all the games he played.
