    Sergio Galvan Rey.

Why did this man start over Fabian Taylor? SGR was making cuts and getting open for balls...that didn't exist! He must've cut and ran AWAY from quality passes no less than 4 times that game if not more. He's not flashy like the other forwards AND he's slower, what does Coach Bradley see in SGR that we don't?

For somebody whose runs sucked, he sure had a lot of open looks at goal. Three very good opportunities he just couldn't put on target.

Sergio works extremely hard, tries to work together with teammates he doesn't know that well yet, and hasn't had much time to play, which seems to have hurt his timing and confidence with his finishing. I'm not saying he's necessarily better than our other forwards, because he didn't show it yesterday, but I don't think he was hurting us out there. If anything, his failing was simply not finishing off chances set up by Gaven, Guevara, and Ziadie.

SGR problems are related to our clogged middle. Until we have 2 wide threats, like DMB and Mapp for the Fire, the center forwards are going to struggle. Vaca is perhaps the answer on the right, but there is no speed on the left. Imagine if we had Chung on the left to go with Vaca on the right, then things would open up for someone like SGR.

What I heard is that he and Woly worked well together during the week, so that is why they were paired for the game.
