Best place to sit at Crew Stadium?

I'm trying to make a trip for a family of four and need to know where a good place to sit for the US vs. Paraguay game would be. I have sat lower reserved, behind team benches (at Crew vs. Metros last year), but nothing on that side is available (according to Ticketmaster online).

Where else would be a good place to sit? I would prefer to not be sitting "all alone" for this game.

Also, hopefully, I can convince them to let me go to the Crew game too, thus making a "soccer weekend" for myself. Any advice as to where to sit would be appreciated.

If you're looking to stand, wave flags, and cheer on the yanks with other passionate fans, call Brandon:

    Brandon Wilmoth
    (614) 447-4176 (direct line)
    bwilmoth@mlsnet.com

He can set you up with tickets for $16 (savings of $4 off regular price). But it is a standing section, and all that.

It's also behind the goal, which a lot of people don't like due to the viewing angle. (they'd rather be on the sidelines than behind the goal).

Other than that, some people like to sit near the tunnel, so they can wave to their favorite players as they enter and exit the field.

If you have real little kids (like younger than 12), the first row in the upper deck is very good, as there's no one in front of you to look around. Also you don't have to worry about people standing up a few rows down. It's also very similar to the TV viewing angle, so it's a great way to see plays unfold.

I would like to stand, however I doubt the rest of my family would. I would also prefer to sit as close to center field as possible (either side).

BTW, Ticketmaster online says there is nothing available on the west side (team benches) for the US game.

206, upper reserved east is a nice place to watch the game. It's exactly at Center Field. Behind team benches mean Club Seats. If you enter in 4 at any price then lower reserved there are four tickets in section 106 on the east side, that's Center. It's like 34 dollars a piece though.

Thanks guys. Does anyone know the address of the stadium? I'm trying to plug it into mapquest and it won't accept One Black & Gold Blvd. as an actual place.

ticketmaster seriously blows. when you get ready to buy, i'd call an acct. manager at the crew office.

    (614) 447-2739 you'll save a boatload in excess charges.

ticketmaster = ticket price + 2.10 facility charge per ticket + 5.50 convience charge per ticket.

4 tickets @ 41.90 (base price), ticketmaster raises that to almost 50 per ticket.

Whereas, by calling crew stadium, they'll take the total price of ALL the tickets, add $5 handling fee on to that (not per ticket) and that's what you pay.

(*)Ticketmaster's fees listed above are for US - Paraguay only. Prices different for Crew games and other events. Calling Crew Stadium will get the same handling fee no matter the game.
