No effing vuvuzelas. Thank you Brazil for not having demented fans and making it possible to watch this year's Cup without muting my television.

This has been a good WC, but the lack of vuvuzelas is still the best part of it.

I agree. All around I've been pleased thus far. But I'm with the original poster. Thank God that we don't have vuvuzelas!

Best part of the World Cup so far to me:The attacking football displayed by most teams. No draws so far and only one match ended by the the lowest of margins.

2nd best but not by much. Man that was a thing of great beauty. Messi's might have been technically harder but not as aesthetic.

    Lots of exciting moments ...

    1) the entire second half of Holland game
    2) the entire second half of Costa Rica game
    3) The last 2 minutes of Switzerland game
    4) The first ten minutes after Drogba subbed into game
    5) The goal by Mexico after so much disappointment of having two goals disallowed
    6) The goal by Balotelli to put the dagger in England

    JOEL CAMPBELL.

Sturridge's goal celebration. Finally performed it on the world's stage.

The Beausejour goal for Chile was a highlight for me so far, even though it was against my team.

    Excellent points to the highlights...

    My additions from the US.

Good coverage from ESPN here in the US. The commentators are giving good incite even though it is heavily British.
Their commentary during the ENG-ITA was suppressed bias looking for excuses was there but not in full flight.

I'm glad that we're past that era of going to the cinema at huge prices to watch WCup match...

True, no vuvuzelas. Brazilians celebrate with AK-47's. Much nicer, yes?

I agree that Van Persie's goal is the best thing that happened until now.And the worst is the participation of teams with no expression.Unnecessary the presence of Iran,Nigeria,Honduras,Japan,Australia and others. It's such a shame.Denmark could be here instead of those.

Great day for group G. Waiting 4 years for a Germany win and a US win.
    That's my highlight, so far.

Australia and Japan at least came to play. And Honduras just ran into a very strong France team. I agree about Iran and Nigeria being very poor, but every WC there are going to be very poor teams and UEFA has had its share in the past. Let's see how all these teams do in the next games
