Just curious. With the MLS season quickly approaching, where's the best MLS Fantasy League at?

www.MLSnet.com? Is there one at Foxsportsworld.com?

    Thanks.

I like the one available through mlsnet.com. I believe it is hosted by sportingnews.com. They have hosted it for a couple years and I think they are doing a good job.

This is the site I've used the past two seasons and have found it to be rather fun, there are divisions you can join and there are also forums on the site as well.

I play both of the leagues, but like the MFLS because I know Mark and the guys that started it. But the Sporting News one is also fun and I enjoyed the different types of competions that the Fire had with the Peter Wilt division. They made it ineteresting during the season.

I now like the MFLS best.

I tried the one on MLSnet run by The Sporting News but I did not think it was as good as the one before that was run by Yahoo. I played the Yahoo one a few years and it was very competitive.

i want a fantasy draft league... and since there isn't one... i'm creating one for the upcoming season... (sorry the league is full)

i love draft leagues... especially nba and mlb

i've done a couple of mls draft leagues... a crazy one that used yahoo (don't ask how we did it) and another on a site that died in the middle of the season last year (that sucked)

i completely realize that there isn't enough demand for it right now... but that doesn't stop me from wishing it were possible

if anyone wants the excel file i'm building for my draft... you're more than welcome to pm me for it (won't be ready til closer to the season obviously)

    Gang:

We at TSN are hosting the MLS FC for the third straight year, and we're excited. If you have any suggestions for rule changes, feel free to email me (ebarmack@sportingnews.com).

We should be announcing an exciting partnership for this game within the next month as well. Stay tuned.

And, finally, those of you who have played in the past know that ours is a salary cap league where everyone gets $2 million to start. So how should we price Freddie?

Waiting for the season to start,

    Re: TSN/MLS FC

Price him really high so that the DCU fans will all buy him and watch his value plumet as the season goes on and he doesn't play or get enough time to get points. At least in fantasy the fans of other teams will be happy.

Nothing can compete with Yahoo Fantasy

It is a damn shame that Yahoo has discontinued their use of MLS fantasy. It was the most incredible game ever, there were so many categories so your player could not score or assist and he would still end up getting more points then people who scored two goals. There were unlimited trades and everything. I have been playing Sporting News for the last two years but it is terrible compared to Yahoo. In SN Fantasy you know exactly how many points your player gets after the game. But in yahoo there were stats such as corner wons, tackle wons, fouls suffered, etc. so it was always a suprise!!!!!!!!

yahoo was my favorite ever...but like jim, i always love draft leagues, especially NFL and i've never got to do one for MLS but i've played MFLS since it started and even the year that we had to pay and its pretty fun also, with all the competitions and divisions and stuff, but i'de still like a draft league even more, more strategy, etc...
