I am very impressed with Damian Duff. Also I have always been a big Shaye Given fan.

Who do you think is representing the Irish the best currently?

On performances so far then it would have to be Duff. Before his injury many journalists were saying his was the best player so far in terms of Europe.

O'Shea seems to have settled after a dodgy start and O'Brien is probably the most improved Irish player with Dunne in with a shout as well.

For me its Lee Trundle from Swansea!

I haven't been impressed with Given this year. He's been poor everytime I have seen him play.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Robbie Keane, he just needs to start scoring on the bigger clubs as well. Duff is probably doing the best, though his injury doesn't help him to solidify his position as such.

I assume this is meant to determine who is best representing the national team, but as for Irishmen in general, both Roy Keane and Dean Kiely have done very well for themeselves.

Don't forget Matt Holland. He and Kiely are playing great right now.
