Right, there's alot of debate on this so lets have a poll. Presumeing Robbie Keane is the automatic choice, what do you think is our best front two?

    His mother.

Apparently she's a big fan of this forum.

Haven't worked out which one of us she is yet, but I have my suspicions.

I voted for Keane and Morrison but would no see harm in Doherty up front with Keane either.

Was at White Hart Lane on Sat to see Keanes debut .
Could be a good year for Spurs ...he had a hand in the first and earned the peno for the second , he also had 1 very good volly in the first half.....impressive

ok, i admit it - i'm the one who voted for sadlier.

it's based on potential rather than actual facts. morrison is making a strong case (domestically) but i just don't think that he and robbie make a good partnership.

look how well robbie played on his debut when he had teddy to knock the ball down to him and quality passes/crosses from the wing.

i see clinton as a third striker when we're chasing a game. he's a poacher who gets into space aound the 6 yard line, robbie operates a little deeper but then he has his back to the goal and isn't as effective.

robbie is infinitely better the clinton, we should be playing to his strengths and not the other way around.

...and i'd still play doherty ahead of morrison.

  8. I voted for Keane and Duff...
I just like to see them together.
But Duffer might play better on left-wing...?

I think most people who aren't voting for Duff would just rather see him on the wing rather then up front, not that they want him dropped or anything.

I put one in for David.

I really think Duff would be best suited to play on the wing or even as an attacking midfielder playing a few paces back from the strikers.

Clinton is magic and I have enjoyed his skills at Palace and now onto the EPL.....however David hasn't had his fair chances of playing a full four to five matches in a row in a long time. I think if Dave were to sit in at the striker role and be able to get a healthy 70mins each match, he would really turn a lot of you around.

Big task to make anyone of the green colours a fan of Dave , but I'll always put my neck out for him. I'm a touch biased about him as we've shared a pint or two in our times , but all in all he has the skills to get the job done.

I've always been fairly confident in Connolly's ability to score if given a proper chance (not these 10 minute caps at the end of a game when no one else is bothered anymore), and I've said that here before - I even defended his appearance in the Spain game! It's just that now that Morrison's on the scene, he does a lot of what Connolly does, but he's stronger and "trickier". His movement isn't as good, but that's what Keane and Duff are for. I still rate him, but on current form, I rate Morrison higher.

Just to let you know that you're not the only one who wants him to get a chance!

The problem with Dave is people wont forget the play off debacle, he brought it all on himself that night.

Duffer is making a suprise comeback up front on this poll, 4 votes in about a minute. Should be mentioned that I think I speak for the majority of people who didn't vote for Duff that it's not that we'd rather see him dropped, just rather see him on the wing then up front because the wings his best position imo.

Conspiracy Theory! Mick McCarthy has ordered employees of the fai to log onto this site and vote for duff up front.

expect a similar poll asking for opinions on the best left back and left mid-field players any time soon

    Simple one really!

    Robbie Keane & Glen Crowe

Connolly is a bollix who shouldn't even get in the Andorra squad anyway.

And even if he did qualify to play for them, they probably wouldn't have him!

How about Kev and Glen up front together?

Now I would pay in to watch them both in green.

Of course I could wait until next season when Kev pulls on the Red & Black at Dalyer!
