Damn, I'm amazed that you remember that I don't have satellite anymore (I'm f...d).

But still, I think I'm right :) D'Alessandro loves to dribble and when he played in River Plate he was on the ground half of the game (Yeah, I know that he's also a little b...h)

I agree wholeheartedly with you about Hleb. He is slowly becoming my favorite non-Milan player worldwide. I actually look forward to watching Stuttgart of all teams. It must take something special for that to happen ;) And Hleb is that player. He and Kaka are very similar imo. I would love to see Hleb in a Milan shirt but that is unlikely to happen since Kaka is already here. This will probably be his last year in Stuttgart as the big clubs will swoop him up soon.

Personally I would go for Keown, the way he takes 3 touches to control the ball before showing some deft flicks with the elbows put's Zizou to shame

Pelé won... I mean, Brazil won a World Cup in European ground, the only non-European nation to achieve this in the football history. By the way, Pelé was only 17.

At that time (50´s, 60´s), he was playing with Santos, his only club as a professional player - he "retired" before he started playing with Cosmos. By the way, Santos played against the Real "European Legend" Madrid in a World Club Cup final in the early 60´s (1962). Santos won. They won again the WCC against Milan (1963).

And Europe was not so important in those years - well, now they are a world league of the best players. Between 1950 and the late 1970's there were eight World Cups. South America won five World Cups. As a member of the Brazilian team, Pelé won three of the four World Cups he participated in - against European nations.

Pelé Eterno (Pelé Forever/Eternal Pelé), the most expected documentary on his life, will be released in december.

You can't forget Sergen Yalcin of Besiktas. He has helped score many goals and help set-up many goals. He is truly a good player.

Zidane is nasty in close quarters...as is Rui Costa

Cristiano Ronaldo & Quaresma can do RIDICULOUS things with the ball, but they got to learn to be more team oriented

As a kid, my dad saw GARINCHA play....he says that he was the best dribbler he's ever seen

Does anybody remember that move (sweet back-heel) by Redondo a few years ago vs. Man. U? That was crazy....

    Become the Tea Pot!!
Hey! Just skimming some old threads, came across this. My bad on Tevez, re-reading this thread i realised I was missing a few young players out. Tevez is definitely one for the future.

People will go nuts when he plays in Europe.

Cristiano Ronaldo is nowhere neat being a top dribbler. All those fancy moves work well going side to side, but he loses the ball five times more often than he gets by a defender.
