Best defence of the last 10 years

    What do you think has been the best defence in the last 10 years?

    Oh dear!

    The best 4 as you would have it are
    Cafu Desailly Baresi Maldini

    Milan had probably the best defence ever with
    Tassotti Baresi Desailly Maldini (although Desailly normally played in midfield and Costacurta played centre back).

    Tony Adams was a very good English centre back, he was not fit to lace the boots of Baresi. Sammer, Desailly and Koeman were all far superior to him as well. Laurent Blanc, Bergomi, Thuram, and Nesta are also better than him.

    Gary Neville the best in the last 10 years? no-no.

    There are plenty to put back at the right that are better.
