Uh, guys... With all due respect, these band names are not good, they're unusual. Aerosmith is a good name for a band.
Eventhough I don't like a few of these, some of my favorite band names include: John Wilkes Kissing Booth Starflyer 59 Blue Eyed Boy Mister Death Naked Rodeo Third Trimester Radiohead Ramstein Hoobastank Talking Heads Rage Against the Machine 16 Horsepower Morphine White Zombie Fishbone Front 242 Helmet Widespread Panic Rusted Root Phish Ghoti Hook
The String Cheese Incident Bouncing Souls Jimmy Eat World They MIGHT be Giants Save Ferris The Mighty Mighty Bosstones Less Than Jake Weezer The Oak Ridge Boys
Reverb MotherFvckers NoMeansNo SquirrelBait '57 Lesbian Can't remember who the band was but a classic album name from early eighties..."Sit On My Face Stevie Nicks".
Bands I've seen. -Psychadelic sex worms (friend's old band) -Groindog (see above) -Useless wooden toys -Meanwhile, back in Communist Russia (shame they were utter sh_t. Other names I just find appealing for no reason: -The Human League -Yazoo - Terrorvision
This reminds me that in the 80s there was a sort of folk/comedy act called the Mother Folkers. Their motto was 'the most carefully pronounced band in the business'.
Lotsa these names are too precious. How about the ones that are good by accident? Conway Twitty and the Twitty Birds
Re: Best band names of all time I always wanted one with MC Hammer, M. C. Carpenter, and Nine Inch Nails...
I always thought some of the bands during my time in Athens, Ga., had some cool names.... The Barbecue Killers Love Tractor Pylon Follow for Now (rep to the first person that can tell me where this band got their name). Flat Duo Jets Chickasaw Mudpuppies Daisy
