What are the best bands to play air guitar to? You know, the ones where a song comes on and you just can't help yourself. My vote for the band with the most air guitar-inspiring songs goes to........

    (drumroll......................)

    ...... Boston.

    Any other suggestions?

i only play air guitar to songs that i know (it looks better if you do the proper finger shapes and stuff :)). Mostly the only band i know songs by are blink-182. so them.

I have to agree. And like mackem said, if you're gonna be cool doing air guitar, then you'll be a lot cooler if you know the proper positions. With Metallica, Hetfield's rhythm parts are pretty easy, so it's fun to play air guitar to Master of Puppets or do a double kick drum motion to One.

    It's gotta be AC/DC!

I defy you to listen to Back in Black and not play air guitar!

I am not permitted to answer this question for fear of Mattbro questioning my identity and sexuality.

Boston and Journey both have lead singers no non-castrated male can hope to mimic, so you have to play air guitar because you can't sing along without embarassing yourself.

Oh, and y'all are missing Pink Floyd, especially Comfortably Numb.

That gets complicated because then you have to always play your air wah pedal.
And what do you do for the whole song when he's not soloing?

That's easy: you sue Napster and you've got him right down to a tee.

But why would anyone volunteer to be a short and arrogant Dane who's been more of a businessman than a drummer?

Come to think of it, has anything good come out of Denmark since Beowulf?
