The list has only post-WWII managers.

Sacchi is the highest Italian coach there? I'd rather rate Trap higher. His club pedigree was better and as for the NT, Sacchi stayed longer because of Baggio. If it wasn't for Baggio in 1994, Nigeria would have sent Italy packing. Would have been worse for Andoni Zubizarreta.

Seriously, how are Mourinho, Cryuff, Zagallo and Sacchi better than Lippi? As for Sir Alex, I don't think he is great enough for third spot. Only one CL and he did shit with Scotland in 1986.

Thats why I said Champions League.

But I would definately rate Hoppel really high on that list, he had an amazing career.

the funny thing is, when english or english affiliated papers or magazines make these lists, as JN has posted many of in this forum, germany teams, players and coaches are nowhere near the top.

World Soccer's top 20 teams didn't have a single germany side. Not even the teams from 1966-76.

This list had schoen near the end, whilst even listing his record with the NT.

Players don't get a mention in lists apart from beckenbauer.

So what explains the NT achievements? luck? :D
