What do you think are the best 11 ever to play with mls? Even if the players where washed up when they got here.

    Goalie: Zenga or Meola

    Defense: Kubik, Branco, Donadoni, Pope

    Midfield:Valderamma,Mattheaus, Nowak, Etcheverry

    Forwards: Hermosillo, Stoitchov

technically, he was never part of the league. never under contract, just played a friendly with DC at the unity games the end of last season. but, no doubt, would be on the best 11 if he had been......

Geez... You really know how to spoil the fun. Of course he never played in the league. I'm just making fun of the "hey what about this" crowd posting in the News & Analysis forum.

I hope this list isn't referring to actual MLS play.

Where is Preki? He definitely deserves to be on the list.

    Lothar?

    Are you serious???

    1. He sucked when he played here.
    2. He didn't really play, he just collected a check.

If you're talking over a career, sure, Lothar is on there, but for his time in MLS... please.

i would hardly consider Andrew Lewis part of the all-time MLS 11... especially not as a midfielder.

He didn't get to light up MLS, but I thought Alan Sutter was in this class.

you gotta be kidding... Emmanuel Lewis never even played in this league. You're thinking of Paul Dougherty.

I'd have to vote for Cobi Jones as one of the wings, opposite Ralston.

out of fairness....you'd have to include all of the mls players (past and present) on the 2002 wc roster....after all, they've accomplished quite a bit...

mathis, mcbride, donovan, mastroeni, friedel, hejduk, pope, wolff, sanneh, meola, agoos....
