Big win for Gregg and the boys at Aachen, 2-0.

Got a yellow in the victory.

Up to second in the 2. Bundesliga, pending Nurnberg's game tomorrow night at home against Mainz.

For all of Gregg's limitations, it would be nice to see Cottbus back in BL1 for 2004-2005, 2005-2006 and for Bruce to have the option of Gregg if need be. He may be able to rise to level of average BL1 defender during that time, but likely no higher. (if it happens)- and not bad to have a guy like that still in the mix

I think he may make the 2006 Cup team as a back-up defender, or last minute defensive support in big games.... I'm wary of his limitations (lack of speed, can deliver real clunkers with ball on foot), but in limited role, he could be effective on the big stage

We need a 3rd central defender to emerge if we're gonna play 3-5-2. Gibbs is a more likely candidate, but Berhalter might fill the bill too.

Berhalter was rated 2.5 and entered kicker’s Team of the Day – could be kicked out after today’s top game Nuremberg vs Mainz though.

Gregg is now ranked around 5th best defender this year (cumulative Kicker ratings) in BL 2. Darn good season for Gregg..

Last I checked, the leader Oberhausen had their entire backline in the top 10. You'd think they'd have Stuttgart's Goals Against, but they do not...
