Simple question: Do you approve of Deschamps's decision to recall Benzema? Feel free to explain your answer. Personally, I was dead set against Benzema's return until the start of the WC 2022 qualifying campaign. We reached the Euro 2016 final and won WC 2018 without him and I really didn't like his involvement in the Valbuena affair and worse, his shameful reaction to DD leaving him out of the Euro 2016 squad ("He bowed to the pressure of a racist part of France"). Not wild either about his F1/go kart comment on Giroud (and I'm not a big fan of Giroud). I changed my mind after our poor display in the March games, taking into account Benzema's strong season with Real. To put it simply, it became clear that we'd have a better chance of winning Euro 2021 with Benzema than without him. He and DD patching things up was a long shot, but it happened, I'm good with that and I'm really looking forward to the tournament. Allez les Bleus!
