He played in a cup game last week against a Ligue2 squad (Grenoble). He was simply amazing: 2 goals and 1 assist ! (Lyon won 4 - 0) He's in the team for tonight clash against l'Olympique de Marseille.

he's been playing quite a lot, and started in the win against nantes. despite the fact he hasn't scored he has looked very good and has been a major catalyst up front. houllier and everyone is well pleased with him.

i don't think OL is that heavy in strikers that he would be loaned out. even if nilmar were to be reintegrated into the team i don't see the need to jettison anyone, and certainly not benzema. he's already getting all the playing time he needs, and he'll get more and more. he has the potential to be the best off all our forwards bar none, and that potential is not years off, it's like 15-20 matches away. dollars to doughnuts he starts wednesday. ben arfa on the other hand would benefit greatly from a loan. he's not as close as breaking into the n°1 lineup as benzema, but the CFA is too easy for him. he needs a man's job at a club that will count on him to help win matches.
