While watching the match tonight, I thought that maybe we should change Olson's name from Benhino to Gentle Ben. He was looking for like Grizzly Adams.

    cheers

My daughter said that Ben Olsen looked like Tom Hanks in the movie "Castaway."

Off the top of my head I thought
    McGruff
    (you know, the crime dog).

He runs around with the energy and tenacity of a terrier, and now he's as hairy as one!

Ted Kaczynski - heh, so he'd be The Unabenny?

    Or perhaps Benny "Walker" Olsen?

Tom Hanks played "Chuck Noland" in Castaway, so I suppose we could call him "Chucky."

    "The Unabenny"

That's classic. I see that one sticking, even if we just made it up in one of these hated "nickname" threads.

Obviously Olsen realized these last few games for us our the first round of the Playoffs basically, and is letting the beard grow for good luck like NHL players do.

    I like "Unabenny" better, though.

Besides, I'm already getting flamed about RFK -- I don't need to tick off the Taliban.

    I believe it's spelled "Chewbacca."

I gave my older son my old Star Wars figures from the first movie...you would have thought I dug up the Holy Grail. I gotta give props to my Mom, who's habit of saving every damn thing from my childhood finally paid off.

And by "who's," I mean "whose."

Remember, "English Major" means "enjoys arguing about literature in coffee shops," not "really good at grammer and spelling."

    unibenny

Unibenny is a great one. And it also sets up a great chant.

    There's only one unibenny
    There's only one unibenny
    One un..i... benny
    There's only one unibenny.
