Many Celtic fans are Irish-Scots, that's why I called them Irish.

i don't think any team should subestimate another. maybe only milan has a place in the round of 16.
benfica has a lot of homework to do if they want to stay in the cl. last years performances away were frightening bad. but in my opininon i thnk that camacho will give them the right tactics and confidence to play an attacing football to not depend only on the home matches.

Big goal for benfica is to steal one point from AC and hope we get 3 wins in the other 5 matches which should help us threw. Yes Celtic is strong but Benfica is starting to gel together. Once Camacho finds the right 11 should be strong. I think 9 points could be enough to get threw if AC goes undefeated and everyone else scrambles for points.

Actually I did pick them to go all the way in a pool as they we also dealt an easy group last year. AC is a 1-0 team regardless, I don't expect blowouts but AC lossing in this group I can't see that.

    Do you watch Football?

Benfica is 5times the team AEK are?

    What have AEK done lately?

Lost key players to medicore clubs on cheap deals.

Manduca is their Version of Kaka which is very sad but I still like him but nonetheless they got spanked by Sevilla badly losing in their own stadium.

They will be lucky to finish top 4.

We're better than Shaktar,we can beat Millan but that definatly wont be easy remember how we outplayed Barcelona who went on to win the CL? I think the team that would really really give us a big run for our moneys is Celtic

    No, cause that never happened...
They could easily have scored 5 goals in the first leg.

you think celtic will be the more difficult matches than milan? ac milan is a fantastic team and anybody expecting a win at the san siro are being a bit too optimistic. the san siro is one of the toughest stadiums to go to in europe. i honestly cant see us getting anything there. a draw in lisbon yes but a win or draw in italy no. shakhtar we could beat easily. celtic could be hit or miss. you never know w them. sometime they play abysmal. we could beat them home and away if we stay tough and score. celtics defense is quite weak.

Anyone else betting on yet another 3-0 win for the team that plays at home when we face Celtic? That has been the result everytime we play each other.

The group is very equal apart Milan.
Celtic are always a strong opponent away, even a tough match to Milan.
Shaktar have been making some good investments but they usually miss on important stages.
Last year, the second place went to Celtic mainly because they Benfica were the only one to fail to get points from our group giant, MU.
I predict something similar this year, the one that is alble to get more points from Milan will moove on.
This will make our CL journey even more though.
We play in San Siro the 1st game and I bet Milan wants to qualify asap. A win start is half way to the other phase.
But our problems don't end here; we have to play in Ukrane in December
furthermore, Celtic will play with a -already qualified Milan- and that will make Celtic's opportunity to steal the remaning points from the Italians right in the last week.
Let's see it becomes similar to last year when MU had to win to top the group against Benfica in the last day, and this will only happen if Milan doesn't make a great CL season. Hopefully, that bad season starts in San Siro with the glorious SLB.
    Viva o Benfs!

I hope you are joking about that. As I recall if it wasn't for moretto's feet benfica would of gotten pounded. I like benfica but now you are saying we can beat Milan? So according to your scouting report, Benfica should easily go to the semi finals.

Benfica can beat Milan. Milan are a great team (arguably the best team in Europe right now), but lets not make them seem invincible. If Benfica plays well, and has the breaks go there way, then anything can happen. Any team can beat any other team on any given day. I believe Benfica can beat Milan.

I KNOW we can beat Milan. Won't be easy, but then again, even beating Vitoria Guimaraes is tough.

    1) You mean, when they play away or when their opponents play away against them?

    2) We won't. UEFA has changed the rules and there won't be any games played in eastern europe and scandinavia during winter. Shaktar will have to play away from home I think. :D

    3) It's us who will play AC Milan on the last round. :D

    Good news hum?

It doesn't make sense. Why would they swap it? Unless it's a way to fit in the visits to Shaktar Donetsk during winter time. Anyway, thanks for clearing it up.
