Just wanted to have a little fun with all the Benfica supporters. Once again their fabled All-Star team does nothing. All that we hear from this latest dissappointment is the the field and weather were horrible and as usual the referee did not do his job. Come on lets get real, they need a new coach and the need to dump a large amount of useless players. Whatever happened to this phenomenal player named Mantoras? Will we see another season without Benfica in Euro Competitions next year? What about the great Roger? The guy barely plays. They need to come to the conclusion that you need to build from within and not buy (and not pay for) every player they deem great. It doesn't work, what happened to this fabled triangle of death. (Zahovic/Simao/Mantoras) they have produced nothing!!! Hows that for some Benfica Bashing!!! Forca Sporting Allez. So Eu Sei...Porque nao fico em casa!!!
I have to agree with you on all those points. Benfica think there to good, but in reality........they are good but not as good as they think. They need to work hard every game no matter what opponet. This is exactly the same thing that happened to Portugal in the world cup. They thought thay there were so good and could beat anybody(they were good, but they thought they were gods......well somethin along those lines.)
