Prestianni is guilty af. Vini and Camavinga confirmed racist slur. He said it 5 times according to Mbappe. 🚨 Prestianni told the referee that he called Vini "hermano" (brother) not "m*no" (m*nkey). @DiarioOle HE COVERED HIS MOUTH TO SAY "BROTHER" APPARENTLY, THIS GUY IS A JOKE 🤣🤣🤣 pic.twitter.com/GVe6yYsqlD— Madrid Zone (@theMadridZone) February 17, 2026
F*** Prestianni. Baila Vini. I'm loving everything Mbappe said in the post match, proper leadership. Vini and the team showed incredible mental toughness because it must be hard to remain focused after that. Hopefully the team can move past it and hopefully UEFA comes down hard on that fool. Incredible goal that unfortunately will be clouded with the events that followed it. Enormous player our #7
Nice one Jose. The good old "why does it always happens to Vini?". Let's not act shocked we can find posts from people here using the same "logic" years ago as well. That's the problem guys we found it. It only happens to Vini because he's TOO black. Other black players don't have such issues. It's Vini that's the issue.

I also want to know what will happen. Alot of empty campaigns. They have now got the chance to take action. Boy called him monkey 5 times. That is unacceptable
Unfortunately it will be hard to prove given he covered his mouth unless someone has some other footage. We all (with brains and eyes) knew what was said the moment Vini reacted and the aftermath. UEFA will play the diplomatic card though.

It’s hard to do something now because that ******** was hiding his mouth. In terms of getting evidence together I don’t know how you do that unless a Benfica player also accuses him, which won’t happen unfortunately. These incidents should just mean a lifetime ban from the competition. Stifle their career directly and make them less commercially viable to other clubs, and see if he repeats that again in his career in Europe. Also, Mourinho, ******** that guy.
He will probably get away with as there were no mics near him to pick up what was said and he covered his mouth with jersey to avoid lip reading. Prestianni is a good player but he's a massive piece of shit. Total Argentinian DNA. Good for Vinicius.
I'm going to break this into two post because I feel what happened today deserves a separate post. The most disappointing thing out of all of this is the reaction post game. Jose Mourinho, who I lost some of my bitterness towards over the years are remembered more the fonder moments, managed to bring all why I disliked him back. Regurgitating the same idiotic narrative of our symbol is one of the greatest black players to ever play... ok and? That means none of you can be racist? And he justified this by saying that this donkey slurred a homophobic remark instead of a racist remark, as if that makes it much better. Or some of their players after the game victim blaming. I've lost all respect for that club, and it's shameful how a club of their history is behaving. I was very proud of the reaction of the team, the words of the captain, the behavior and the words of the coach, and most importantly of all, what Mbappe did. Say what you would about him, he's quickly established him as a leader for this team. Let's see what UEFA does here. There may not be video evidence, but the behavior is clear, and there are multiple corroborating accounts. This should be an easy verdict here. Suarez was suspended by the EPL with similar evidence.
On the team's performance, save for the first 10 minutes, this was a continuation of a string of excellent performances. The switch to the 4-4-2 and the introduction of TAA has opened up so much for this team. There is less playmaking responsibilities on Arda, the right is formidable and defense can't load up on Vini and Carreras, Tchoua can focus on being a true middle of the pitch enforcer. Camavinga has been a wild card, and all he really needs is consistency. Game after game you can see him growing, much better decision making, and starting to play to his skills. The back 4 in general was very very good, and Tibo made a spectacular save. The goal this weekend should be to protect TAA and Rudiger, no need to overload. Put in Dani and Asencio or Alaba. A note on Arbeloa, who has immensely impressed me. His man management, his press management, his level headedness on the pitch, and his trust in the academy is top class. Still tbd tactically, but I've liked what I've seen so far there as well. Lastly, really liked the Thiago sub. Regardless of the time, he trusted an 18 year old to come into a 1-0 game away from home in the CL KO, and trusted him to manage the game. And Thiago did very well in those limited minutes. Smooth on the ball, good movement, very confident. He has been Castilla's best player, and would love to see him get more minutes with the first team.
I was going to call this post out at the time, but after his post-game comments now I really want to know -- why? What exactly has he said or done that makes him "such an unlikeable character"? And I don't mean speculation of what he secretly thinks or does 'behind the scenes'. His post-game comments are exactly in line with the rest of what I've seen and heard from him in the past. I understand how some people unhappy with him tactically -- occupying the same space as Vini, that a classic #9 would be a better fit positionally, or the simplistic take that we won the double, signed him, then didn't win a title the following year and have struggled this year, but I don't understand people thinking he is a particularly bad, unlikeable person.
Roger Milla did a similar dance in the 1990 World Cup Finals. It was not something new. That was almost 36 years ago. On top of myt head, Otamendi on the field was the only player born then. People loved Milla's dance. It was not something new. Why the controversy?
Como demonstram as imagens, dada a distância, os jogadores do Real Madrid não podem ter ouvido o que andam a dizer que ouviram. pic.twitter.com/7JF9AVuhEM— SL Benfica (@SLBenfica) February 18, 2026 This is the official account of the club. Insane.
Not only did he do nothing provocative, but even if he mooned the crowd it still wouldn’t justify racism.
