Similar to Juventus vs Torino, Liverpool v Everton, etc. or united vs man city before man city became rich. the important thing is that there should be plenty of youths on display. Goncalo Ramos has been superb. It seems that Joelson Fernandes isn’t being called up because he refuses to renew his contract. I am hearing that Arsenal May very well trigger his 45€M buy out clause. I hope Tiago Tomas plays and scores. I predict Benfica to win by a score of 3-1. The Reality is Sporting is not a grande anymore, there are only two grandes left in Portugal. i would hope that mr conspiracy himself can even admit that was a clean goal. sporting made a big mistake getting Amorim. Their team is not that good and they would have been better off investing that money in players benfica looked awful but we have some good pieces at least. Have faith JJ can improve us in the areas needed.
Yup cl is weaker nowadays too. Gone are the days of prime Messi’s Barca and prime Ronaldo’s Madrid. Bayern are considered elite now and their robbery team was still much better imo. Time to bring the cl back to Portugal
