reis, to be honest i have to admit, that 2dragao4, is not completely wrong. manel did not have a particulary good season 05/06. he was injured and koeman didn't use him that often. ok, koeman is gone and things could turn better, but benfica is always tight on money and fir the club it might be a good point to sell him. although i think he's a very promising talent and that portsmouth is not the right club to be, a price of 15m is very good.
anyway, 2dragao4, no reason to talk down our players!

    Manuel Fernades Transfer

Pini Zahavi is transfer man for Chelsea FC, Roman Abramovich right hand man for major transfers. This guy is loaded with cash SLB needed some cash last year so LFV sold 50% of MF pass.

Here's a general question that I have: who get's the right to put the player on the market, the club or the individual? I mean, let's say that Benfica wants to sell MF but the agent holding the rest of MF's transfer value doesn't want to, then what happens? I guess there has to be one entity who has more say than the other when it comes to actually selling the player...

They meet last year in Israel (LFV & Veiga) --- money for the December transfer market if I remember correctly!

    Grassman,

In December, they had finish the group stage of the CL with 2 wins and the
bonus for passing to the quarters! (2 million maybe?) I don't think they had 10million at that time.

Manel is a mutual fund and Benfica acts as the broker.

You're probably right, the money wasn't there at the time. Benfica's total earnings from the Champions League last year was 14 million euros.

yea it also keeps on getting alot fuller. They better loan out alot of their young players. and sell simao beto and petit, but unfourtunatly peit and beto are both set to stay. Tiago Gomes will probably be loaned out or sold. Quim out, Canales, Bruno Costa loan, Marco Ferreira out, Manduca out. holy shit we have alot of useless players.
