3.º EMPATE SEGUIDO DA EQUIPA DA LUZ
    Alenquer trava Benfica

Benfica decided not to play in CERS CUP (as 1st ranked team, they were "repescados" to play in CERS Cup....), in order to play only in national championship and in Portuguese cup...

Oliveirense also gave up, wich means that only PORTO (Euroliga) and PORTOSANTENSE (Cers CUP) will continue in European competitions this year.

Benfica will play tomorrow in Aveiro. They will play in the "FC Bom Sucesso" tournament, with Roubaix (France), HC Braga and FC Bom Sucesso (home club); I Will try to post here the results as soon as I arrive at home lol

But the most important thing will be the interchange between Benfica and the amateur teams of Roubaix and Bom Sucesso!

Yeah, looks like he is famous. I went to this tourney yesterday, and when I was asking were it was the pavillion, people asked me if I knew Abilio dos Frangos :D

Must be the only famous place in Bom Sucesso / Aradas!

    Anyway:

Yesterday, Benfica beat the french team ROUBAIX by 14-0...

Today we will play against Hóquei de Braga, who beat the homeclub FC Bom Sucesso by 7-3.

This is not an official tournament, but this can use to "pop up" the players, so we can enter in 2006 with much more victories.

    Benfica won the Bom Sucesso Tournament by 3-2, beating Hóquei de Braga. Our Rui Ribeiro was the best scorer (5 goals in 2 games). This was a friendly cup, but can be important for players like Ricardo Barreiros, that can get from here a little beat of confidence for the next 3 games: Famalicense (H); Oliveirense (A) and Barcelos (A);
Rui Gamboa made yesterday his last game for Benfica. The young portuguese international player will travel to Paço de Arcos. I hope he can return to the "old times", and can be a better player, just like he was destined to be when he came to Benfica, 3 years ago.

BEnfica will play today against OC Barcelos. Both teams are not like they were in the past. For the ones who might prefer this game, than ear FC Porto - Naval, you can listen online, or check the main facts, all minute by minute on these sites:

    Online Radios From Barcelos:
    RADIO BARCELOS: http://www.stream.radio.com.pt/R...pt/ROLI-ENC-104
    RADIO CAVADO: http://www.stream.radio.com.pt/R...pt/ROLI-ENC-096

And of course, my favourite one:

www.hoqueislb.net (need to be registered to "watch" the play-by-play) :D

By the way, next game of Benfica will be play against Candelária, but the game will be in Alverca, due to the UEFA Futsal games in "Pavilhão Açoreana SeguroS", next SAturday

Nelson LOurenço will be the "interino" coach for a couple of weeks. Benfica palyers are not allowed to speack to the press, and so I had to talk with a friend that is playing there now about... soccer (Benfica - Sporting)

In a game played in Alverca, due to the UEFA FUTSAL CUP... at the same hour of the Benfica - Sporting... it was an almost empty pavillion that saw Benfica beat Candelária by 4-0.

Without coach, but with one nmore victory. Hopefully we can continue this "series" with victories against Paço de Arcos, HC Braga and... FC PORTO!!!!

I'am publishing an interview that I made to Carlitos, a few weeks ago... Now the players that I meet can't talk about rink-hockey to press, due to the Club's directors decision... but I'am waiting for news!!!

    www.ifmdesporto.blogspot.com

    TONIGHT!!!!!
A great (hard...) game at the Fânzeres Pavilion!

    FC PORTO - SL BENFICA
    (09:00 PM, Lisbon Hour)

In the "Açoreana Seguros", Benfica beat Porto by 6-2... in the "Supertaça" games, a draw in Lisbon, and a defeat by 2-5, before a bomb has "finish" with a great rink-hockey game!

Benfica is coached (again) by Carlos Dantas, that will "fight" Franklim Pais... you can follow this great derbie at www.hoqueislb.net...

sadly, this sport is not what it was, and RTP and SportTV dont want to know about this spectacular sport!

    Anyway, enjoy it!

Tonight, in a sad saturday for soccer, Benfica "matou um burrego" named Portosantense , by 5-2...

The captain Mariano "Mono" Velasquez scored 4 goals (!), and Carlitos, who is completing today his 23rd aniversary, scored the other goal.

Let's pray for the continuation of the good results. Next games will be against Gulpilhares (away) and Nortecoope (at Lisbon). For all that I saw this season, Gulpilhares will be a hard game, but I think we can beat them...
