Camacho blasts defenders after Inter knockout By Simon Evans MILAN, March 25 (Reuters) - Inter Milan set up a UEFA Cup quarter-final meeting with Olympique Marseille with a remarkable 4-3 win over Benfica on Thursday which left Benfica's coach Jose Antonio Camacho blasting his defenders. The Portuguese side found themselves in the unusual position of having scored three away goals, after a goalless first leg in Lisbon, but still out of Europe. The scores were at level 1-1 at the break before five goals in 17 second-half minutes saw Inter run out winners. "In the first half we were much better than them but it is unbelievable how we could concede three goals from counter attacks," said Camacho. "You can't give these kind of gifts in a competition like the UEFA Cup without being punished, especially when you are up against players like (Obafemi) Martins and (Christian) Vieri," added the Benfica coach. A scoring draw would have been enough for the Portuguese side after the goalless first leg and so Inter threw everything forward after the break. "They were the team who needed to attack but anyway we gave them the space to do so
