There's a big difference between the Colaship and the Premier League. Is Bendtner ready to start in the Prem? Probably. Is he ready to start for Arsenal? That's a different question.

Ya .. He'd probably start with most teams in the 2nd half of the table .. But he'll definitely start in all the CC games for us .. I think that's very acceptable for a 19 year old ..

bendy is a blatently more competitive player then

    hoyte vs sagna vs eboue

we all know wenger sees hoyte as third choice unless he thinks eboue is a legitimate long term rm

I'd be pretty confortable with hoyte as second choice. Besides that hoyte is a little older but he's always been very mature. Probably the reason his still around at the club.

I've always liked Hoyte. He improved a lot last season. I thought he was a bit better than Eboue in defense last season. Eboue was better going forward.

Plus Hoyte is a "homegrown," player to the most truest sense so I would like to see him stay at the Arsenal for life.

Yup .. It would also make it easy on Wenger to choose a minimum number of homegrown players for the CL ..

Was just about to post a link to this. Wouldn't surprise me really if he went out on loan.

Me neither, he'll be screwing us if he does though, we'll have to sign another forward.

We like speed at all positions and at 5'11" Hoyte isn't small so can't he be part of our depth across the back, specifically at CB?

We are talking about shifting Berto back there so we obviously have a need for additional depth and Hoyte wants time and his loyalty should entitle him to the opportunity to challenge for time there.

    Just a thought.

Shipping Bendtner out would be amazingly stupid. Ade's apparently trying to get in the good graces of his national team, van Persie has to prove he's not injury prone, and I'm not sure Wenger has decided how to play Walcott, and Eduardo's still sorting out his position as well. I'm sure Wenger knows how to deal with the playing time disappointment.

lots of speculation based on one complaint from Bendtner (sill a teen, pretty much) and the mirror (as reliable as a usairways flight schedule).

so...meh. he'll be playing for us.

I think you might have found the wrong thread. :)

I'm still not even sure it was much of a complaint. As far as I can tell a journalist probably asked him about being left out of the squad, and he said something like, "I was surprised to be left out. I'll have to ask Arsene about that when I get back," or something like that. Not the most humble thing, but I don't think he said he was going to "demand" anything.

I think the Daily Mirror is just making a meal of it.

yes absoloutely hillarious and jovial when a top young talent is talked about going out on loan or leaving the club

you know what would be hillarious, if he ended up at chelsea or man yoo and realised his massive potential and became a top striker ion europe
