Yossi Benayoun came on as a substitute in the first test of the new season. Too bad he couldn't add some silverware.

Yossi scored his first goal for Chelsea and Keinan made his debut for Blackpool. No sign of Ben Haim or Cohen.

    Any news still?

We have Yossi and Gai injured right now, what bad luck... (both their clubs could use them too)

  5. According to the press, Yossi is on his way back to make a full recovery. We could see him in a few weeks linking up with Torres. Unfortunately, they don't have FA Cup matches anymore so they will probably not need such a large squad for the remainder of the season.

Tamir Cohen was subbed on in the 85th minute and scored the winner in the 90th minute to probably end Arsenal's chance at the title as today's game just ended Bolton 2:1 Arsenal. Bolton had only 34% of the possession according to one website and 32% according to another. Bolton is now 1 point behind seventh place Everton and Bolton has 1 fewer game played. Bolton's final five games include one against an elite club and no away games at clubs currently in the top half. Bolton got their best home attendance of the season today.

It should also be noted that after Cohen scored the winner, he took his jersey off to reveal a shirt with his recently deceased father, football legend Avi Cohen. Check out the video.

So what's happening this offseason for these guys?

Ben Haim needs to move to a club where he will get minutes. Benayoun still doesn't start, and he should be. Cohen needs to move on as well I would say. Looks like Maccabi Haifa wants Cohen and I think Ben Haim would be a good target too.

Other news: Schecter looks like he is snubbing West Brom in order to have a move to Bundesliga.
