I came across this interesting article in the Israeli paper, Ha'aretz. Speaking at a meeting of Labor Party ministers on Thursday, Defense Minister and Party Chairman Benjamin Ben-Eliezer estimated that a U.S. military attack against Iraq would begin at the end of November. Sources close to Ben-Eliezer said that the initial assessment of the defense ministry was that an assault on Iraq would commence in the middle of December. They said that the defense minister's remarks Thursday were based on new information received by the intelligence establishment. An Israeli security delegation arrived in Washington Thursday to consult with U.S. officials ahead of a possible war in Iraq. http://www.haaretzdaily.com/hasen/p...ontrassID=1&subContrassID=0&sbSubContrassID=0
I think that if Gee Dub gets the OK from Congress the attack might come between Oct 15 and Halloween.
Doesn't mean it will this time around. Afterall the last time it lasted 6 weeks, whereas this time it might last a few months. We just don't know, but if I was a soldier I'd rather be fighting in the middle of the desert during the winter instead of the summer.
Yeah, nothing like spending a nice winter night in the desert, it keeps you nice and warm /sarcasm off.
Just like there's nothing like wearing MOPP Gear(chemical suit) in 110 degree weather. It keeps you cool... Yeah....That's it.
