Give us two more examples of how the NY Times is like the news of the world. While I don't quite agree with the bloggers harsh tone, he's not so far off the mark.
That's a bad habbit we have. Getting enough sleep doesn't really matter. Another one is our eating habbits. (Mediterranean diet is just a myth) We're off-topic though... He's contracted untill 2012. He also has a release clause for 7mil if I'm not mistaken.
Maureen O'Dowd = Page 3 girl (OK, 20 years ago, it would have been cooler ... or, hotter, as it were). As to NYT in general, there's a reason for a corrections page. NYT is not an exception.
Thank you Captain Obvious. Some news outlets don't do corrections because they never admit mistakes. At least the Times keeps it honest.
OMG!!!!! The New York Times is THE SAME as my kids! (qua they make mistakes). HOW ********ING ENLIGHTENING!!!! Did you know that former Soviet Union international player Vladimir Alekseyevich had a father? I did, too. OMG!!! WE ARE THE SAME!!! (qua having a father). So anyway, I hope Freddy makes the transfer and gets PT.
I think that if he continues to mature and develop his performance, the day that La Liga teams will knock our door won't be far away... And consider his age, too: he's only 22! That's what our complaint had been about Calvo for 2 years: he had sooooo much talent but he actually did nothing -- compared to what he is able of. And that's why we keep saying that Adu's case looks like Toni's. A lot, in fact! Yes, he made a mistake obviously. He meant Ghana. I forgot to say it when I translated the article. Actually, 06/01 is a holy celebration of our religion and a work-free day for us! So, we have plenty of hours to stay awake! But, generally speaking, we stay awake until late. One of our bad habits...
Until official word comes, there's always a chance that Freddy (or, more properly, his agent) can still "pull a Gilligan" and snatch defeat out of the mouth of victory...
Well, at least here's some sort of official word that Aris made an offer. http://www.yanks-abroad.com/get.php?mode=content&id=5670
Since the article mentions the name of Chrisanthos Tsaltidis, who is in charge of our Press Office, it must be true! Glad to see that he verified Aris' interest! Here in Greece, until now, noone from Aris went public officialy. Only rumors. IMO, expect the official announcement soon!
I am happay for Freddy. Yet I am amazed that he is still finding places to play in Europe despite doing nothing for the last 2 1/2 years. Hopefully he finally proves his mettle!
me too, im pleasantly surprised he is getting another chance, for a Europa contender once more. i thought he wouldnt have any takers after Belenonsense
Sweet! I can't wait! I feel this IS the perfect club for him to see minutes, gain exposure again to show he's still good, and maybe win a spot on the world cup roster as a supporting striker! Sweet! Lets cross our fingers! Yes! I can't wait!
