CBS partners with Turner on many things, so JSL could be there for Champions League coverage in February. I would also imagine that when you work in sports television that you don't typically cover one sport, so I would imagine he would do hosting duties on stuff like the NCAA basketball tournament and other stuff on CBS Sports Network.
That would be interesting. Sort of like how Rob Stone does Pre/Halftine/Post Game for College Football.

I use firefox and I find that if you click and hold on the schedule and then drag it up/down to the time you are interested in it sort of works. There are a lot of gaps in the schedule listing, though. I did notice that Wednesday they are advertising the Coupe de a Ligue quarterfinal match, LIVE, between Lille & Amiens, at 3pm EST. I'm going to try and OTA DVR it.
I just noticed that the programming schedule for Beinxtra is showing up on Zap2It for the Chicago affiliate (24.2). It seems accurate with what is on now. The schedule says they will be playing both of the CAF Champions League matches tomorrow, LIVE: JS Kabylie vs. Raja Casablanca at 11 EST Zamalek vs. ZESCO United at 2 EST Saturday: FC Platimum vs. Al-Ahly at 8am EST AS Vita Club vs. Esperance Tunis at 11am EST Also on Saturday, Ligue 1: FC Metz vs. RC Strasbourg Alsace at 4pm EST (delayed)
Libertadores started again and BeIN is picking up right where they left off: the game before ran long so BeIN started late (cool, that's not on them since they can't control scheduling of European games) but the Connect broadcast had no sound. That is on them.
Seems like about half the Connect matches these days don't have sound, the Marseille French Cup match on Friday didn't have sound until about 75th minute, but I watched it anyway because I'd rather watch the Connect feed as it aired live than the delayed broadcast which either gets chopped up if it went extra time or spoils me that it didn't if it runs in full.
AD: are you watching on Sling or some other provider? I sent an email because once Libertadores and Sudamericana are going, Connect is necessary. They wrote back telling me they received no other complaints so it's probably my connection. The usual. But they did say if it happens again, send a video sample, which I have done in the past but they never downloaded it (Wetransfer sends a receipt when the upload is downloaded). Anyway, it happened again tonight with San Jose-Guarani. No sound. Again, not a huge problem when BeIN has it in English but a concern when Connect will be the only option for some games.
Yes I was watching on Sling, on demand. Like you I rarely watch live so I couldn't A/B it with the Connect app itself.
Watching Lille-PSG on beIN 5 through beIN Connect app. Feed was lost for about 2-3 min, just came back but commentary now in Spanish instead of English. Not a big deal, but has anyone experienced this before on beIN?
All beIN Connect channels have 2 audio channels. According to the schedule, the Lille v PSG match was suppose to have English commentary on both channels. So obviously a screw up. Not having watched the game on Connect, did you by chance try the "other" audio channel? Both in Spanish?? SA
I don’t watch Connect often, but people here who do will tell you that it regularly has various technical issues
