I have to say, I have not used the connect website in months and it is really, really good compared to years past.
I'm trying to figure out if I've got a problem with my Amazon FireStick or if Sling is my problem. Every now and then I have a situation where the image freezes and the audio continues to play. This problem never occurred when I used the Roku for Sling but because the Roku seems to be the only player that has ESPN looking like garbage from time to time, I try not to hook up the Roku. Has anyone else who uses a Fire Stick and Sling for BeIN had this problem with the image freezing and the sound continuing?
And one more BeIN question. Does anyone who uses sling know if you can set an on demand recording to save to the cloud DVR? Yesterday there were 20 CAN matches in the cloud and today only 6 (as if that space needs to be reallocated for La Liga repeats). I was traveling during most of this tournament and only have the first week of games in my cloud DVR. I'd like to add the rest that still exist on BeIN and Connect before those disappear as well.
Maybe she'll be the PA announcer at Boro matches. Seriously is good at what she does... hope she lands somewhere where they can use her skills. And maybe somewhere where her bosses don't pimp her up. I.e. not Sky. Her looks always struck me as closer to jock than sex-kitten.
Bad news. Bein studio presenters are a total sausage fest now. I just mute the TV at halftime of these AFCON matches. The product is just so cheap and boring looking.
Saturday mornings are typically busy for me, so I normally have being on the corner of my screen while I do work. But it really sucks that, unlike ESPN+, what gets smaller is the video pane not the menus. There is no way to get rid of the menu on the side unless you go full screen. It also sucks if you want to watch two games at once on your computer screen. Similar to the new Fox site, the menus doesn't have a hide button, so you cant' just make the window smaller. Kudos to ESPN front-end programmers for realizing this, and minimizing the menu, not the video as you make the window smaller.
@SirFozzie How about we don't do anything else in this topic? This should be locked. I started a 2019-2020 topic.
