Just to let you all know that beIN Sport 1 is streaming live right now on their website. http://beinsport.tv/ This is streaming free until August 15th.
direct link: http://beinsport.tv/vidtest.html So, is the assumption correct than any live content they have up to 8/15 will be streamed live (for free) at that link?
...and after that, it'll be streaming live on other websites. Hell, it's probably live now on other websites. In all seriousness, too bad the site appears to offer no schedule of any sort
Hard to tell exactly which matches BeIn will be showing online between now and August 15th but based on Espanyol v Montpellier, which is being shown on Al Jazeera Sports in the Middle East, here are the matches that we know are BeIn/Al Jazeera properties and could likely find their way to the current online service: Saturday, August 4th: 9:30am Monchengladbach v Sevilla 10:45am Heracles Almelo v Osasuna 11:00am ADO Den Haag v Newcastle 12:45pm Roda JC v Bayer Leverkusen 2:30pm Wolfsburg v Manchester City 4:30pm AC Milan v Olimpia (in New England) Sunday, August 5th: 8:30am NEC Nijmegen v Blackburn 11:00am AZ Alkmaar v Fortuna Dusseldorf 12:00pm Ajax v PSV Eindhoven (Dutch SuperCup) SA
Paris Saint-Germain vs Barcelona has been confirmed for beIN SPORT 1 USA test feed at beINsport.tv for Saturday August 4 at 1:40pm ET. This pre-season Trophée de Paris match is courtesy of the Qatar Investment Authority.
The match is on espn3.com. Surely there would be a rights conflict here...that is why I didn't put it on the list. Where did you get the confirmation from? SA
Phil Schoen himself asked all viewers to join him and Ray for PSG-Barcelona on Saturday at beINsport.tv Pre-season matches generally are worth little to nothing in terms of rights fees. $1 + transmission cost would suffice in most cases.
Wish I had $1 every time you say that...I could retire.... I still don't see how ESPN would be cool with that even if they only spent a $1. I guess we'll see tomorrow.... SA
Assuming that the beIN SPORT 1 USA test video feed at beINsport.tv will have live Ligue 1 and SuperCoppa Italiana action next weekend as well as two English League Cup matches: Friday August 10 2:40pm ET - Ligue 1 - Montpellier vs Toulouse Saturday August 11 7:55am ET - SuperCoppa Italiana - Juventus vs Napoli (from The Bird's Nest, Beijing, China) 2:55pm ET - Ligue 1 - Paris Saint-Germain vs Lorient Sunday August 12 2:55pm ET - Ligue 1 - Reims vs Marseille Monday August 13 2:40pm ET - English League Cup - Oldham vs Sheffield Wednesday Tuesday August 14 2:40pm ET - English League Cup - Swindon vs Brighton (Pitch Int'l LLC should provide English-language voices for the English League Cup matches so Phil and Ray may not be needed. Matthew Spiro usually calls the primary Ligue 1 match on the international feed each day. One would expect Phil and Ray to call Juventus vs Napoli.)
beIN has already confirmed that they will be streaming the Supercoppa Italia (no na) live next weekend.
I guess BEIN got the language rights to the PSG Barca game in "GEORDIE".. cause its on ESPN3 too.. they have a Scottish announcer.. not Derek Rae.. doing a really good job.. Hudson and Schoen on BEIN.. I forgot how I hated GOLtv until now.. they are horrible.. now another replay.. and guess who? Hudson and Schoen... looks like the Hudson and Schoen channel.. for 19.99 a month for these monkeys... NO WAY... get me tier 1 talent.. Cantona---
That was one of the reasons why I was excited that Univision Deportes would be bidding for La Liga rights. All Real Madrid supporters I know and talk to online in America all say they just mute the channel and especially during El Clasicos. I already see on the website for BeIn it has rights to Barca Tv. Oh and the Qataris sponsor Barca too. If Goltv was pro-Barca then BeIn will literally drive a Madridista insane.
Between this and FS2GO becoming the Premier League + egg chasing -- illegal streams are looking better and better everyday. I just want Sky Sports 1,2 and 3.
Here is what is coming up on BeInSport.tv: Thursday, August 9th - 4:00pm Valencia v Tottenham (Friendly) LIVE Friday, August 10th - 2:45pm Montepllier v Toulouse (Ligue 1) LIVE Saturday, August 11th - 8:00am Juventus v Napoli (Supercoppa) LIVE 3:00pm PSG v Lorient (Ligue 1) LIVE 5:00pm Rennes v Lyon (Ligue 1) Same-day-delay 7:00pm Nice v Ajaccio (Ligue 1) Same-day-delay Sunday, August 12th - 11:00am Koln v Arsenal (Friendly) LIVE 3:00pm Stade Reims v Marseille (Ligue 1) LIVE New calendar/blog site now up HERE. Let me know what you think... SA
So Real Madrid and Barcelona matches take precedent over all other content on BeIn and BeIn Dos? Can't comment on the speculation thread so I am here but from what I am hearing only BeIN 1 will be HD and not BeIn Dos sojust wondering if all Real Madrid and Barcelona games will be in HD?
i was trying to watch montpellier-toulouse and i've never seen a worse streaming. i switched to the french beIN through my browser and it was fine. based on this experience, even if beIN were available here as a streaming subscription, i would not purchase. i had hoped there might be that option, but their delivery of streamed content seems to be pitiful. i would hate to spend money for that.
I'm assuming the stream is available only in the U.S? I'm from Canada and I keep on getting an error message
Currently streaming a re-broadcast of Montpellier-Toulouse and we're off to a great start (that's sarcasm) because the international English feed that features top announcers who actually *know* Ligue 1 has been replaced by Phil and Ray.
The 1st half was entirely in Spanish. The 2nd half of Cologne-Arsenal on beINsport.tv started with NO VOLUME WHATSOEVER. No commentators, no natural sound. That was eventually fixed with English-language commentary from Phil and Ray.
