I thought that Beer Tent with the band thing outside the stadium was awesome!!!! (with exeption of the long lines.) Why the hell don't the Rapids do that for very game?!?!?!?!?
Probably because of the cost. I know that the night they had dollar tacos and free beer that the Rapids had to pony up the $$$ for the beer.
I think they may have done well with that promotion ... I talked to people in the beer tent ... and there were a lot of first time rapids fans were there.
I'm down with that, but if MLS is going to incurr losses because of it, then I can live with the occasional $1 beer tent.
