Some things just seem to go together. One of the (few) advantages we have in the US is the ability to buy beer at games. I got this idea reading a post on another forum about a flier for beer in San Jose. When we build a new SSS in downtown Denver, which is where all the other stadiums are, then I would put a big sports bar under one of the stands. Folks could have a nice meal before the game and they could sell a multitude of the world's beers during the game. Maybe have a nice place where, when there isn't a game, there could be tables and chairs outside with a view of the field. Have the place divided into different areas with big-screen TV's so the Brit fans could watch their games during the Winter. I know I'm dreaming, but isn't it a wonderful idea?

Something like that was being kicked around in Milwaukee a while back.

Unfortunately, Anheiser-Busch tends to lock teams into exclusive deals that require their brand of swill to be the only one sold at games.

A college hockey arena in Grand Forks, North Dakota has 2 bars inside the Arena. I'd think we could get at least one bar near any new SSS.
