Hello everyone. I am wondering if there is anyone out there that possibly has the information on becoming a hocker. (One of the people that sells the pizza, candy, lemonades, and good junk food like that in the stands.) Please, if you have the information, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

At first I thought you wanted to become a hooker.

I have no information to offer...about either profession.

BTW--Kind of off topic, but I haven't been to any matches this here. So I am wondering if you guys still sing that 'You'll never beat Joe Cannon' song, but have stuck Pat Onstad's name in there?

I think you mean "hawker." When I was a kid, "hocker" meant a big glob of spit. Spartan1 is about due for an appearance (a reservoir of hell is building up for him/her about this year's beer sizes), so he/she is the one who can best answer that question. Where are you Spartan1?

I got a "hawker" for someone, but it's not about beer.

Yeah, right! I guess you haven't watched any of the games as well. Joe and Pat aren't on the same level of play.

Same cheer, just a different meaning, now when we sing "You'll never beat Pat Onstad!" we are refering to goals scored, not goals saved.

I think the appropriate chant would be:

    "You'll never be Joe Cannon"!

    Yeah, that's been done. :(

Give Pat some time. He's not Joe. And as you said, he never will be. Just give him some time.

Back to the original question - I'm not sure who runs the concessions anymore it might be Spartan Shops at SJSU or maybe Event Staff. Someone at the Quakes office should know for sure.

Oh and by the way I thought you wanted to learn how to commit vicious falls.
