How can you compare the two when they play in completely different positions?

Its like comparing a goalkeeper and a striker.

A more suitable question would be who would you rather have on your team. Im not really a fan of either but I think I'd go with Owen. I havn't seen Beckham do anything spectacular lately while Owen seems to be fitting in fine especially now that Becks is out.

Beckham had more talent, but he wasted it. Owen is more effective and has time on his side.

Exactly. Though to continue with who you would want on your team, I would think Owen. Though neither right now are doing much or are impressive.

And next week on Stupid Hour: "What is it with Martin Keown and playmaking anyway?"

HAHAHA, good stuff. Not really too much thought put into this thread, obviously.

Although the skipper hasn't been performing well lately, he'll come around. I would still prefer to have Beckham on my team. More experience as a leader and more versatile of a player. Plus, the media is on him 100 times more than on Owen. That has some impact on your focus.
