That would take care of the fans that would be upset with no Becks for the Man Utd tour in the US for one city. I guess putting Tim Howard in goal at the other matches would be their attempt at easing the disapointment but I don't think it will work. This whole thing will be interesting, to say the least.
regardless, barca in 8th place and still 2 pts out of 6th (the uefa cup slot) that will allow them to come (instead of playing in intertoto cup)....with matches against 5. valencia and 4. celta (who are both trying to lock up that 4th champions league slot) to finish up. its going to be interesting keeping one eye on la liga's table for the next couple of weeks. but, as others posted in another thread....its hard to understand why anyone will be interested in paying those prices for this match....maybe besides a few north enders. last week becks was going to real m.....none of this stuff means anything.
You're right and anyone who followed the Renaldo to Real Madrid saga closely knows that official denials mean nothing also. Nothing means anything in these deals until you see the player in the new uniform in many cases. Photoshop team changes excluded.
