Several news sources linking Beckham to possibly the England job. I understand a few Galaxy fans may be happy about this, but what will it take the FA to pry away GoldenBalls from the MLS permanently?

Take a deep breath and repeat after me. This. Is. Not. Going. To. Happen.

    At least not yet....

Well he did a fantastic job of riding that pine and looking upset when needed...that qualifies him to coach England right???

Well..the same way that qualified Maradonna to coach Argentina it seems. Or Klinsmen with Germany.

    ;)

Seriously. But I noticed two other guys with Maradona in the last game talking into his ear and pointing to players and spots on the field. I wonder if those are the real coaches.

David needs some experience before he coaches England. So next year he's going to coach the Galaxy.

And if Maradona is a figurehead, then good for him. He's doing his country a service by deflecting attention away from the men on the field. It's quite obvious that the Argentine players have bought into his system (whether it's his or not), and they're probably the best team in the tournament right now.

Bex would be loltacular as the England coach.

C'mon. Beck's is not coaching any team except for his kid's club team. I have no doubt he would eventually be a fantastic manager with his football IQ, but I don't think he will be starting his managerial career as the gaffer of England.

His kids play AYSO. He called the youth club system in the US a money sham that puts too much pressure on young kids and looses focus on the kids actually enjoying the game.

Well that's a good thing from him. He really cares about and loves the game.

And talking about pressure, could be one of the main probs with England players too. But wait..maybe not. hmm..

Anyways, about him coaching England or not..if he got awesome assistances too, then he can do it. Hell, anyone with massive football knowledge can do it too.

I think Diego Maradona should coach England.

Can you even imagine the insanity that would ensue? I think lives might be lost.

And thus is the definition of a lose-lose situation.

Interesting fact: not only are those guys Argentina's real coaches, they're also OJ's real killers.

In other words, Maradona is to 2010 as Klinsmann was to 2006.

Let's hope we have some damn good assistants for the USMNT if Jurgen gets the job...

As demonstrated today....bad coaching will eventually bite you in the ass. Doesnt matter if you have the best player in the world.

So? Maybe DB won't be as bad as Diego. Perhaps he can be as good as Klinsmen or Low, or better. With better assistance of course.

Diego is/was a mistake from the start! I'm still mad at why the Argentine FA didn't sack him after their NEAR failure to qualify for the WC few months ago! I don't support Argentina at all (actually I rooted for the Germans to win this match! ;)), but I have huge respect for them. And I like Messi very much. Pity for him though.. :(

So apparently Becks thinks he can play in the Euros...Great so more loans for half the season. Come on Beckham! Fabio said he is looking at younger players, and you just dont have what is takes to start or come on as a sub anymore
