I was wondering what type of comments Beckham has made about Cristiano Ronaldo before, during, and now after the European Championships. I know that when United signed Ronaldo, Beckham said he had never heard of him. I wonder what his opinion on CR7 is now.
I'm new, so I just want to send a greeting to all the ManU supporters, and to all those opposed? Hmm, well.
P.S. Who is Giuseppe Rossi? How old is this kid?

    Welcome to BigSoccer. :)

I'm not aware of any quotes Beckham has had about Cristiano since we signed him. Although, I haven't been paying much attention to much of what he's been saying for about a year now....

Rossi is a young player who has spent the last few years in Italy, although he was born and raised in New Jersey. He's been capped for Italy's U-19 team (father is Italian), but he could still conceivably play for the US team at some point if he doesn't get a Cap for their Senior squad. There is a thread in the Yanks Abroad forum about this kid, I haven't read the whole thing yet... https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=117596

Giuseppe Rossi moved to Italy to train at Parma 3 years ago. When he left for Italy his family came with him and it was a big blow to New Jersey soccer because his father is coaching legend here.

Obviously the boy has a glowing reputation as a young prodigy-type player. Do you have any insight as to what type of player we are looking at here?

    Fast winger?
    Creative midfielder?
    Clever forward/striker?
    etc.

BTW, who lives in Glasgow and claims to be anything other than a Celtic or Rangers supporter? It's not like quality football isn't available near this "guy".

I still vote for sock. Sick and twisted sock, but a sock, nonetheless.

I know that I talk about footie players being hot but thank God I have never posted something close to sounding like I was sending something to Teen magazine........

And if Actung did not already have like a million rep points he would have been repped for the phishy comment because that was really funny....not that I would ever believe that Phishy would do something as immature as that post! ;)

to go back to the orginal point. I remember beckham talking about ronaldo at an england pc after the bolton game. His comments were something like "i hadnt heard of him before" and "did well" he also said giggs´s free kick vs bolton was good as was his goal in the preseason vs juve

not right now since i saw it on tv but Ill check it out

    EDIT

"From what I've seen he came on and changed the game," said Beckham. "That was good for Man U.

"I wanted them to do well. I have always supported them and always will.

"We've both moved on now although there will always be fond memories.

"I am pleased that the number seven shirt has a player for the season."
